FAQs

  • We love kids. However, our venue has specific rules and limits around children being at the reception due to the presence of alcohol. We also enjoy having a night off and want you to have one too! Except for a few of the bride's nieces and nephews, we will not be having children at the wedding.

For our friends and family out of state, please contact the bride if you need recommendations for a babysitter.

  • We request that you do not take photos at the ceremony in order to keep the view clear for our photographer and guests.

While we welcome you to take photos at the reception, we ask that you not post any identifying information about the bride and/or groom on social media. We value our privacy and ask that you respect that by not posting our faces and/or names on social media. Please feel free to use the photos for personal items such as scrapbooks, calendars, phone backgrounds, etc. We will also have an online link for you to post photos to after the event so you can share them with us and other guests in a way that maintains our privacy. Thank you for respecting our choice.

  • If your invitation says “and guest”, then yes! If it does not, we would prefer it be just you!

  • Semi-formal (think: a dress or a coat and/or tie with slacks).

Our venue has some uneven ground, grass, and dirt so we recommend staying away from stilettos.

  • While we obviously cannot guarantee the weather. At this time of year, you can generally expect temperatures between 60 and 70. It is usually cool and slightly humid. However, there are great variations. We recommend checking the weather a few days ahead of time to ensure you have what you need.

  • Yes, please let us know when you RSVP of any dietary needs. We will be providing vegetarian options and can accommodate other needs, provided we are given a heads up.
